My name is Laurina. Since childhood, I have felt a profound connection with the energy of Mother Nature – a bond that soothes my spirit, lifts my heart, and awakens a sense of wonder. From the gentle rustle of leaves to the wonder of wide-open skies, Nature has always been my sanctuary and inspiration.
Guided by this connection, I’ve spent much of my life exploring ways to share the beauty and energy I find in the natural world. Photography has been one of my cherished tools in this journey and has allowed me to capture fleeting moments of light, colour and emotion. These quiet glimpses of magic, often unnoticed, have inspired me to create Beautifully-Strung, a space where the beauty of nature and connection come to life.
My Limited Edition Greeting Cards feature images from my personal photography collection as well as other inspiring visuals I’ve gathered on my journey. I’m also excited to share with you my first collection of Meditations, created with the same care and intention that guides all my work.
The inspiration for many of my creations has come from the diverse experiences shared by others – moments of hope, love and joy, and even fear and loss, as well as kindness and frustration that makes us human.
A special thank you to my brother, whose guidance as a photography mentor has been a true inspiration. I’m also truly grateful for the technical support he’s provided, ensuring I have the tools I need to follow my aspirations.
The name Beautifully-Strung is inspired by Scotland’s ancient harp, known as the Clarsach, one of the country’s oldest and most cherished instruments.
